Overview
Ponce Health Sciences University’s Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) program prepares students to become compassionate, highly skilled clinical psychologists ready to serve a range of populations. Grounded in a practitioner-scholar model, the program emphasizes evidence-based assessment, intervention, and research application in clinical practice. Students gain extensive hands-on experience through supervised practica and internships, working with individuals across the lifespan and from varied cultural backgrounds. With a focus on addressing health disparities and advancing mental health equity, the PsyD program equips graduates to meet the growing demand for clinical psychologists in hospitals, community clinics, private practice, and academic settings.
