The PHSU Wellness Center, located in Ponce, Puerto Rico, is the academic clinic of
Ponce Health Sciences University, combining excellence in healthcare services with
high-quality academic training. As a trusted healthcare provider in the southern region,
the Wellness Center is committed to promoting integrated wellness, offering advanced
medical care alongside a robust educational mission.
Our clinic serves as a leading provider of internal medicine, mental health, and dermatology
services. Recognized for its public health efforts, including award-winning vaccination
programs, the Wellness Center exemplifies a steadfast commitment to community well-being.
Backed by more than 500 faculty members, including distinguished professionals from
the Schools of Medicine and Psychology, our center offers specialized care and innovative
solutions to meet the needs of our community. This includes residency programs in
Psychiatry and Dermatology and an APA-approved Psychology internship program, ensuring
a comprehensive and evidence-based approach to mental health care.

To schedule an appointment or learn more about our services, you can contact us by
phone at 787-812-2525 or email us at wellness@psm.edu.
Our service hours are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
We accept all commercial plans, MMM Vital and MMM Advantage.
Our clinic provides high-quality outpatient services, ranging from mental health to
physical health care, tailored for the entire population.
The required documents for a minor to receive services are:
- Health insurance card
- Social Security number (last 4 digits)
- Birth certificate
- Vaccination certificate
- Photo ID of the mother, father, or legal guardian
- If the minor is under another custody arrangement, supporting documents or an affidavit are required.
