With the opening of a new medical school in Tortola, BVI, PHSU is excited to expand globally. This MD program, which holds preliminary accreditation from the Accreditation Commission on Colleges of Medicine (ACCM), features a comprehensive 4-year curriculum designed to provide students with a robust, culturally attuned, and technology-driven medical education. We are currently accepting applications to the MD program in BVI with the inaugral cohort starting fall 2025. PHSU BVI offers a 4-year Doctor of Medicine (MD) program that provides two years of pre-clinical coursework in Tortola, BVI, followed by two years of clinical rotations, in which students can apply to complete at PHSU's affiliated campuses in St. Louis, MO and Puerto Rico. *However, an exception may be granted to students with an undergraduate degree from
a US or UK university—a waiver must be requested from PHSU in this instance.*
Acceptable Language test to be presented:
- IELTS: prospective students must obtain a 7.0 overall and 7.0 on each band required for direct entry
- TOEFL: 94-101 overall is required for direct entry (24-26 reading / 24-26 listening / 23 speaking / 27-28 writing)
