If you are member of faculty or staff and a student shows signs of emotional distress, academic difficulties related to personal concerns, or behaviors suggesting the need for professional counseling, psychological evaluation, or reasonable accommodation requests please use the button below to submit a referral.

These are some of the most frequently asked questions regarding our services:

We offer academic, personal, and career counseling services. This includes individual or group sessions, workshops, crisis intervention, consultation, and referrals to outside resources if needed.
All currently enrolled students are eligible for services free of charge. Faculty and staff may consult with us regarding student concerns, but direct counseling services are for students only.
Yes. All services are confidential and follow professional, legal, and ethical guidelines. No information is shared without your written consent, unless there is a risk of harm to yourself or others, or as otherwise required by law.
The first session is typically an intake where a counselor will ask questions about your concerns, background, and goals. Together, you'll determine the best course of action moving forward.
Yes. We offer telemental health sessions using Teams, a secure platforms. Students must be in a private, safe space and located in a region where services are permitted.
While our model is primarily short-term counseling, we assess each case individually. If long-term support is needed, we’ll help connect you to external providers.
Yes. Faculty, staff, and peers may refer a student. If you're concerned about someone, please use the referral form on this website.
Students seek counseling for a variety of reasons. In general, you should consider coming in for a brief assessment if you’re having difficulty interfering with studies, work, important relationships, or personal functioning, or if you have been feeling distressed and you’re not able to feel better by doing the things that typically help you.
